The first Merkle DACH Hackathon puts the ingenuity of our experts to the test

We all know and love the amazing story of Jurassic Park. The experience at the park, though, had some weak spots – like that part when the dinosaurs escaped. Surely we can do better than this?

A day to innovate, create, experiment and team without limits: The first Merkle DACH Hackathon brought together curious minds from across 16 locations of Merkle DACH. With coaching sessions from Merkle experts on topics such as pitching or design thinking, the participants were empowered to put their skills and knowledge to the test. The goal: Inspire each other and build solutions to a Jurassic challenge that would even make Samuel L. Jackson sweat.

The beauty of technology is that you can test new things by failing. Fail fast, fail forward. From “Hello world”, all the way to the complex algorithms, our Hackathon event is about bringing our global teams closer to each other. As a mix of collaboration and friendly competition, we learn from each other, have fun and trust each other. Our Hackathon is a celebration of people having fun, teams coming together, and ideas taking shape.
