As our teams are continuously growing, we are currently looking for an Inside Sales / Business Development Representative, to join our international team located in Prague.  

Job Description

As an Inside Sales / Business Development Representative, you are the key person for the expansion and sustainable development of our sales pipeline and will work closely with our marketing and sales teams. You open the door to the biggest accounts in Czechia and the emerging markets.

You will help Merkle sell more efficiently and effectively across the region and understand the prospective client decision-making process and organizational map. Thanks to your proactive way of approaching people, you will have no inhibitions about making the first telephone contact and getting into a conversation and following up on qualified marketing leads. With your flair for communication, it is also easy for you to understand customer needs and to argue along our service portfolio. Finally, you'll develop your own pre-sales pipeline of qualified leads based on your target accounts.


What we are looking for: 

  • 2-5 years of proven INSIDE SALES / Presales experience in B2B Business
  • Background in information technology, professional services or digital agency (know how in Salesforce, Adobe, SAP, CRM, marketing automation and / or customer experience a big plus)  
  • Excellent written and communication skills are vital 
  • Fluent written and spoken Czech & good English for this position
  • Additional languages, French or German also desired for other roles
  • Highly motivated, well-organized and driven 
  • Strong ability to do research in a commercial environment 
  • Self-starter with the ability to think quickly 
  • A team player with a strong and confident personality and a positive attitude with great dedication. 
  • Able to take full ownership of the presales process
