The challenge

OMV wants to position itself and its topics with new and exciting content formats on social media and thus improve the positive perception, especially in a still neutral target group. The focus will be on topics from the areas of sustainability, climate and petrochemicals. In order to position these topics in a way that is effective for the target group, OMV has enlisted the support of Merkle to implement and further develop its social media strategy.

Workshops with OMV

Together with OMV, we develop goals, strategy and KPI sets in a series of workshops on social media strategy.

We create innovative content ideas for OMV's social media channels.

The result: Optimal social media communication

Instagram, Twitter, YouTube & Co.: Since 2020, we have been supporting OMV AG on all its social media channels. For this, we design assets, create new content and shoot videos.

We also advise the company on the strategic development of its digital activities. In this way, we ensure that OMV AG continues to score points with its international target group in the future.
