During the calibration round we discuss which employee should be promoted
Sometimes coincidence tells beautiful stories: As coincidence would have it, we are sitting on the calibration board at Namics today, 14.06.2019, while in Switzerland women are taking to the streets to demonstrate for equality.
But what does our Mid Year Calibration mean for the goals of this 14.06.2019?
With the Calibration Board, we want to ensure that a transparent discussion is held at Namics and that a fair and broadly supported decision is made as to which employees will be promoted.
And our success proves us right: with the calibration process, we have achieved a promotion ratio between men and women in two rounds since the start of measurement last year that corresponds to the basic ratio at the relevant levels. This has been achieved completely without a quota - but on the basis of performance and ability - and we are very proud of this.
In this spirit, dear women: much joy and success on this important day. Demands what we all equally deserve: equal opportunities, transparency and justice. For more diversity and that means not only, but especially for women.
