Have you been thinking about entering an IT-related career or are you already in the middle of it?

The ITgirls initiative wants to make more young women excited about tech and make women in IT visible to create more role models in the tech sector. The founders Lena and Laura are career changers themselves and take you along with them on their journey into IT. They are happy to network with you and are also available for personal conversations.

"We want to get young women excited about the tech industry and show the impact that women in IT will have on society in the future. Many girls don't dare to study IT or categorically rule it out - that's exactly what we want to change and make female role models in IT visible",

says 25-year-old Lena, who already has a bachelor's degree in business administration and is now doing her master's in IT management and consulting at the University of Hamburg.

But it's not just Lena and Laura who will be taking part in the event; five female digital experts from Merkle will also be giving you exciting insights into their experiences. For example, Annika Kirchhoff, Head of Sales Germany at Merkle, will take you on her exciting journey as a woman in the IT industry.

Can't wait for the event? On the blog, you'll find tips, podcasts and experience reports on studying computer science. Moreover, ITgirls informs you about exciting events and programs, all about tech.
