Merger and rebranding of the leading digital agencies Isobar Switzerland and Namics.

Dentsu announces the launch of Merkle in the DACH region: Merger and rebranding of the leading digital agencies Isobar Switzerland and Namics.

Geneva/Zurich/Frankfurt, 11 November 2020: The two leading full-service digital agencies Isobar Switzerland and Namics – A Merkle Company announce their merger today. Organisationally, the merger will take effect on 1 January 2021, with the rebranding to Merkle to follow in the first quarter of 2021.

The merger brings together two leading digital transformation companies in the DACH region, creating a unique offering in the market in the areas of technology, data, CRM and digital transformation consulting. The new company will operate under the name 'Merkle', dentsu's leading brand for Customer Experience Management (CXM). Patrik Gamryd, former CEO Isobar Switzerland, will lead the new organisation in the DACH markets.

Merkle is a global leader in technology, data and customer experience management and part of dentsu International. Full-service digital agency Namics, which has extensive digital consulting, creative, commerce and customer experience expertise in the German and Swiss markets and a leading quality centre in Serbia, became part of Merkle in November 2018. Isobar Switzerland was formed in 2017 from the dentsu acquisition of Blue-Infinity, a leading digital transformation and technology agency with offices in Switzerland and leading quality centres in Portugal and the Czech Republic. In 2019, the company became Isobar.

The merger and rebranding to Merkle creates a company with over 1200 digital specialists. The two organisations complement the competence and expertise of Merkle's extensive offerings in the field of customer experience transformation and provide additional scalability in business transformation strategy, digital consulting and technology implementation. The merger also opens up new perspectives and development opportunities for the employees of both companies.
